Privacy and terms
QuoteForte is run from Auckland, New Zealand. This page says what the app stores, where, and who else handles it. Questions: hello@quoteforte.com.
Privacy
What stays on your device
By default, everything you type is saved in your browser on the device you're using: your business details, logo, bank details, clients, drafts, finished jobs and unpaid invoices. If you clear your browser data, it's gone, unless you've turned on sync or exported a backup.
What is kept on our server

Documents you email to clients are built and sent, not stored by us. Voice recordings, receipt photos and imported emails or files are passed on to be read and are not stored by us.

These services are based outside New Zealand, mainly in the United States, and handle the information under their own privacy terms. On a desktop browser, dictation may use the browser's built-in speech recognition, which is run by the browser's maker.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your information or your clients' information.
- We don't show ads or use advertising trackers.
- We don't email you marketing. We email you only about your account, such as a password reset code.
Your clients' information
The client names, addresses and emails you enter or import are your business records. You're responsible for having a proper reason to hold them, as you would with any invoicing tool.
Seeing, correcting or deleting your information
You can change or clear what's on your device at any time in the app. To see, correct or delete what is kept on our server, email hello@quoteforte.com from the address you use with QuoteForte. If you're not happy with the answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner in New Zealand.
Terms
Using the app
You may use QuoteForte to prepare quotes and invoices for your own business. Don't use it to send spam, to mislead anyone, or to try to get around the usage limits.
Check before you send
Voice and receipt reading are done by AI and can get things wrong. You are responsible for checking every document before you send it, including names, prices, quantities, GST and totals, and for meeting your own tax obligations. QuoteForte is not accounting or tax advice.
Free and Pro
The free plan has a monthly allowance that may change. Pro is NZ$29 a month, billed monthly through Stripe after a 14-day free trial, which is offered once per person. To cancel, email hello@quoteforte.com; you keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for. Prices may change with notice before your next billing date.
Availability and backups
We work to keep QuoteForte running, but it may be unavailable at times and features may change. Keep your own copies of the documents you send; the app's backup and sync are a convenience, not a guaranteed archive.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, QuoteForte is provided as it is, and we're not liable for losses arising from its use, including errors in documents you send. Nothing here limits rights you have under New Zealand or Australian consumer law that can't be excluded.
Changes and governing law
If these terms or the privacy notice change in a way that matters, the date at the top of this page will change. New Zealand law applies.
